CHRONIK - NORMAN  M.

Age 86, after a long ilness passed away peacefully under Hospice care in Mercy Hospital on Friday August 14, 2015.

Norman was born in Buffalo New York on April 15, 1929, the son of the late Michael J. Chronik and the late Helen (nee Staniszewski) Chronik.  He retired from Verizon Telephone Compay as a cable Splicer.  He married the love of his life, Adele M. (nee Gronicki) Chronik.  They celebrated 62 beautiful, adventerous and loving years together.  Norman served his country in the Korean War.

In addition to being survived by his wife Adele M. (nee Gronicki), Norman is the beloved father of  Michael (Elaine), Debbie (Christopher) Acker and Kathleen Barbera. Dear grandfather of Justin, Katie and Missy. Great grandfather of Jacob, Penelope and Mia. Fond brother of the late Robert (Barbara)  Chronik and  Eugene (Shirley) Chronik. Norman is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.

Family and friends are invited to commemorate Norman's Life on Monday August 17th from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Kevin M. Mason Funeral Home 154 Weimar Street (at the corner of Casimir  St. ) Norman's Funeral Mass will be celebrated  ON SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19, 2015 AT THE R.C. CHURCH OF ST. CASIMIR AT 9:00 AM. THE CHURCH IS LOCATED AT 160 CABLE STREET BUFFALO NEW YORK 14206. THE MAIN ENTRANCE IS ON WEIMAR STREET AT CASIMIR STREET. INURNMENT, WITH FULL MILITARY HONORS WILL BE HELD IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE FUNERAL MASS AT ST. MATTHEWS CEMETERY IN WEST SENECA.
