Elizabeth had a 60 plus year career as an educator for the Buffalo City School District as well as providing private tutoring. She kept in touch and collected cards, letters and pictures from many of her students and their families. She was known as a tough but concerned and fair educator. She taught English, Math and Science.  However, she never stopped with teaching the basics.  She believed a good teacher taught character, ethics, morals and respect along with the necessary subjects. She wanted to prepare her students for the world.  She often said....."Go...go out there a make the world yours".  Many of her students are physicians, Judges, Lawyers, Researchers and well established Business Men.  She began doing oil paintings when she was 70 hears old.  She figured this would be a good excercise to keep ver vision and mind sharp and keep her hands busy. She realized she had a psaaion for oil painting and really enjoyed painting landscapes and religious figures.  She sold many of her paintings both locally and internationally.
