So many fond memories of Christmas Eve gatherings in Cheektowaga, shared vacations and some of those "old style" Polish dishes. The girls (Jessica, Christine and Sarah) also received many hand knit items lovingly made by their Grandmother over the years. She had a huge place in her heart for family.

My favorite family member of all time...my own words can't express how I feel, so I'll use yours: "I love you, a bushel and a peck...a bushel amd a peck and a hug around the neck". Can't wait for the day when I'll see you again, gram. Hope they have Dairy Queens in Heaven.

I'm going to miss the way she always called the aides or nurses in to introduce all of us (sometimes repeatedly) and how she was so proud. The way she was always right about everything. Her sense of humor -- like when she told me she was surprised I had a boyfriend (lol). I'll think of her whenever I put money in Ry's piggy bank or watch The Notebook. She was amazing. Miss you gram, but I know you're in a much better place and state of mind and soul, and you're always with us. Tell grandpa I said hello, and that the Dolphins still stink!
