Daniel P. Panek, age 74 passed away suddenly at St. Joseph's Hospital in Cheektowaga at 10:39 pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.


Daniel was born on November 18, 1942 in Buffalo New York the son of the late Joseph and Jane (nee Burek) Panek. He was honored to serve his country in the United States Army from 1963-1965.  he had a long career and retired the the US Postal
Service. Dan was a proud member of the Polish Falcons and the Leonard Post. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society at the Church of St. Casimir.

Devoted husband and very best friend of nearly 50 years to Emily (nee Jacak) Panek; Loving father of Cecelia (Gary) Pascucci; adored grandfather of Nicholas and Anna  Pascucci. Dearest son-in-law of Cecelia (nee Jozwiak) and the late Joseph Jacak. Dan is also survived by three sister and one brother as well as many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.

Family and friends will be received on MONDAY, JULY 17, 2017 between the hours of 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm only at the Kevin M. Mason Funeral Home, 154 Weimar Street (at the corner of Casimir Street). Everyone is cordially invited to assemble at the Church of St. Casimir on TUESDAY, JULY 18, 2017 at 10:00 am for Daniel's Funeral Mass. Entobment will follow at Ressurection Mausoleum at St. Stanislaus cemetery 700 Pine Ridge Heritage Boulevard

We are so very sorry to hear of Dan's sudden passing. The patriarch of a wonderful family. He will be dearly missed. God bless your family in this time of sorrow.
