We were a part of the OPHS Class of 1963 Life's paths take different directions. I remember Dorothy calling me one day many years ago inviting me to join other girls of our class for dinner. We would meet every other month to share a meal and keep in touch. She held close to the values of life. She had a way of bringing common sense to every issue or problem. She endured her suffering with patient resignation and Christian fortitude. She truly was a woman of substance. Gone from our lives, but she will never leave our hearts.

To the Kohl family, Despite all of Dot’s physical woes, she never let it put a stop to her zest for life and living it to the fullest. She was a colleague and a friend, and an example to emulate for those of us who had the pleasure of her friendship. She will be missed! Sincerest condolences, Marge Witkowski

Dear Mr. (Don) Kohl and all the Kohl family, Though I have not visited with Mrs. Fowler for many, many years, I am so saddened to read of her passing. Time goes by so quickly and there are so many opportunities lost. I am grateful that one of my all-time favorite teachers connected us, and that Mrs. Fowler asked me to watch over her dogs several times when she was away from the house since I was in the neighborhood. I remember how she played the radio to keep them company, she had such a big caring heart! You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that the happy memories that will live in your heart forever may soon ease the sadness you are feeling now. I know that she will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by many. Peace, Jackie Ford
