I took every class Mrs Rowland taught at Clarence HS, Class of 1965, and she is still my favorite teacher. She was wonderful to me, and I will never forget her.

Mrs. Rowland was my very favorite teacher. I took her home economics class every single year and loved them all. I’ve thought of her often since my years at Clarence Hi and was just talking about her yesterday. May you find peace and comfort knowing she was so highly thought of and remember. Please accept our deepest sympathy from the Amherst Retired Teacher Association. My husband Dave considered Bob Rowland his most important mentor at Amherst Senior High. Through Bob, we both got to know Elaine and thought the world of both of them.
