Arnette D. Kilpatrick

Kilpatrick - Arnette D.

Arnette Kilpatrick of Buffalo, New York went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 4, 2018. She was born on December 5, 1959 to the late George Kilpatrick and the late  Ernestine  M. Hodge.

Arnette attended Public School #37. She then attended East High School, obtaining her GED in 1988.

Some of her greatest interests were spending time with her family, dancing, listening to music and watching movies (the Sci-Fi Channel  was one of her favorite television channels.) One of her passions was socializing  with different people and making people laugh.

Those that remember her, know that she was someone who didn't take "no stuff off NOBODY"! Even so, she had a great sense of humor.  Lastly,  she loved to dress and stay sharp. She was known for cleanliness- she kept a clean house and she'd talk about you if you didn't keep a clean house!  We called her "the House Detective".

Arnette has been welcomed home by the Lord, her mother Ernestine Hodge, brother Blane Hodge, Sr., and sister Yvette Garrison.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories; brothers  Floydell Hodge, Jr., Carlos Gordon Hodge, Sr. (Verlina),
Eric L. Hodge (Maria), sister Linda Hodge-McLoud, brother-in-law Harry McLoud; her daughters Mariama Kilpatrick, Ashley Williams, RaSheeda Smith and son RaShawn Smith; nephews
Carlos Garrison, Marlon Garrison, Sr., Adrian Garrison and niece Zakia Garrison; grandchildren Amaru Everett, Addae Everette, DeMari Marable and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

                                                                         THE SERENITY PRAYER
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
